My mother, Ethel Miner, shows reiners and working cowhorses.
My sister, Holly, goat tying.
My brother, Jess, steer wrestling.
My late father, Russ Miner, steer wrestling. Dad passed on his love of rodeo and horses to me.
Here I am on Shorty, my first barrel horse, in Inman, Nebraska.

Meet Lucy, an August addition to the JLQH crew. She is gritty, as she is the sole survivor of a fatal double dog attack in mid August. She has wiggled her way into the soft spot of my heart and my house. She guards my bed in the evening and attacks my feet during the day! She is a great lap warmer every time I sit at the computer or the table. And I thank her for sitting still long enough to allow me to snap this shot for the website!
