We actually purchased Rubiate at Blane's [Schvaneveldt] sale, and were so pleased because after we had her, she started her running . . . we were always so pleased with her . . . she always gave 100% effort.

She was always a bit standoffish and a bit witchy as a racemare . . . but, as a broodmare . . . to humans, she is so loving. She loves to be petted and scratched . . . BUT, don't be another horse . . . she will go after them . . . very protective of her baby. She has the Agouti filly at her side, and we et'd the Hawkish filly.

I really feel like you do about RED TB . . he puts good conformation, good bone, a good head, and his get are just downright pretty.

I'm glad that Blane thinks that RED will be a good broodmare sire, we do too! Mary

My name is Sandy Arave. I live in Hemet, CA. I own an awesome 7 year old Red gelding that I wanted to tell you about! His name is Red N Away. I purchased him as a 4 year old from Linda and Bobby Adair. As a five and six year old he had limited competition. Last year it was due to a fall he had at a barrel race. Since bringing him back in January he has won 1st in
the 2D average at the NBHA Pacific Championships, 2nd in the 2D average at
the BTM South barrel race. There he cruised through a standard pattern and posted a 17.5. This past weekend I ran him at a BRN4D in Tulare where he had the 11th fastest time on Saturday which was 2nd in the 2D then came
back on Sunday to win 8th in the 1D with over 200 entries.

I know you are promoting RED as a great barrel horse sire and I am here to say I would give anything to own a barn full of them! Salsa is the most well mannered, easy going barrel horse I have ever owned. He is great to haul, easy to care for and willing to do what ever I ask of him. At this time he is only going at a 1/4 of what he has to offer and is still out running some of the toughest horses here is Southern California. I can't wait to get my card again and enter up!!!!
