2002 Sorrel Mare
I just wanted to send you another update on Sateen ("ZNDots"). She is really starting to understand what her job is! We just finished her first full season of barrel racing, and she ended up winning the Reserve 1D saddle with the Riverside County Barrel Racers. She also finished 2nd in the 1D in their Summer Saddle Series, and won the last race with over 100 entries. She has been consistently running with/winning in the 1D against tough horses!
Here's a link to a video, too. I have a few of her on my YouTube :)

We actually purchased Rubiate at Blane's [Schvaneveldt] sale, and were so pleased
because after we had her, she started her running . . . we were always so
pleased with her . . . she always gave 100% effort.
I really feel like you do about RED TB . . he puts good conformation, good
bone, a good head, and his get are just downright pretty.
I'm glad that Blane thinks that RED will be a good broodmare sire, we do
too! Mary

HI,
My name is Sandy Arave. I live in Hemet, CA. I own an awesome 7 year old
Red gelding that I wanted to tell you about! His name is Red N Away. I
purchased him as a 4 year old from Linda and Bobby Adair. As a five and
six year old he had limited competition. Last year it was due to a fall he
had at a barrel race. Since bringing him back in January he has won 1st in
the 2D average at the NBHA Pacific Championships, 2nd in the 2D average at
the BTM South barrel race. There he cruised through a standard pattern and
posted a 17.5.
Just wanted to keep you up to date on Red N Away (aka Salsa). I bought my
WPRA card and entered him in some rodeos. So far he has gone to 4 rodeos
and won 2 checks! The most recent was at the Brawley rodeo! He won
4th!!! I am so proud of him. Especially since he has never been exposed to
any rodeos until this fall!!! (email from November 11, 2008)
Salsa won 10th in the second go of the Greg Olson Memorial! 428 barrel racers...Brenda Mays on Jethro won it with a 17.0 and Salsa ran a 17.3! It was a standard pattern! That is his fastest time on a standard set. He made a few mistakes too! (email from Jan. 19)

2002 Chestnut Mare
Owned and ridden by Christina Richman finished 16th in the 2008 WPRA/NFR standings and 1st in the California Circuit, all this with limited hauling and the mare was only 6 years old! At the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, April 8-11, 2009, the duo won $16,562.15. A downed third barrel in the finals cost them the championship. October 2011, Christina and Stitch have just qualified for their second NFR, they are coming in at the number 13 position.

We purchased a 3yr old out of your great stud RED!! He is now coming 5 and has been nothing but awesome since we bought him!! We train a lot of colts and he was just a natural!! One of those once in a lifetime colts!! We went to the NBHA Triple Crown in Perry GA this past weekend and Crystal Shumate won it with a 14.752 and my husband tied with Jamie Hunt to win the 2nd div with a 15.268 winning $1178 and a wild card out of 458 riders! What an accomplishment!! He's placed several times in the 1 & 2D at our local shows and he gets a check everywhere we go!! I wish we had another colt out of RED!! He's so laid back and gentle and he looks just like his daddy!! (email from Traci Phillips on January 14)

2002 Mare
I bought a Red mare at the Heritage Sale in the fall. She is out of the dam of Frankie Shoots. I stole her. Not really, but it feels like it. I love this mare. She is so smart. I am bidding on him for a stud fee in the VGBRA acution and hope to get him. Just wanted you to know that the baby will be raced or barrel raced. So hopefully more feathers in his mane, so to speak. (email from Lesley Mercill, January 13)

Here's an email from Summer July 3, 2010:
"Freddie spaghetti made his self known last night. 350 entries. A 15.2 was winning it when I ran at number 182. He wouldn't catch the right lead when I started down the ally so I didn't want to push him for fear he'd start fading in too soon. It wasn't his sharpest 1st but when we left the 1st man alive he hit another gear and I rolled with him he stepped out for the pocket lifted his shoulder and skimmed the paint off the barrel he dropped so low I thought he was going down, he started running harder to the 3rd, again when I lifted he stepped out and set up perfect for the turn, this horse was so rounded and he flew home, I started to kick, when I looked up at the clock and it stopped at 15.8 I thought to my self if we wouldve gotten the right lead coming in, he could've been at the least 2 tenths faster. I had people asking me what the heck are u riding??? He ran very tough, I was so proud to have been just 6 tenths off some of the toughest horses around....."

Hi Jill. I've been looking over your website for another “Red.” My dad (Dave Waddell) and I own Weber! I finally stole him from my dad and have been running him on the barrels for the past year and haven't ever felt anything like him, We've been winning every where we go. I plan to go pro on him this year, I just turned 18. I need something that is going to keep pace with him and I have been looking hard for something just like him. I really like the looks of JL Saturn & Spartacus, and was wondering if you could price them for me?
Thank you, Brittney Waddell
This picture is of me and Weber in Victor this year!
