I have had great success with the Docs Oak line in the past. My oldest broodmare, Koak, is an own daughter of Docs Oak and out of a Leo Bingo bred mare. The tried and true "old" bloodlines. Every colt I had out of Koak was easy to train; smart, athletic and kind. They were also very quick footed.
Photo on the left is from this fall and on the right here she is at three weeks.
... great color and cow-bred!
